Meet Alston, a 15-year-old, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes nine days before his 14th birthday. He enjoys his active lifestyle, swimming, coaching Upward Basketball, and playing baseball for his high school or the community. He is thankful for Children’s Hospital because of the work it does to help him manage his diabetes and continue his active lifestyle. Alston dropped the puck to start the second game against the Volunteers. Before the game, MTSU players enjoyed spending time with other children playing games and having fun. After the game, over $100 were donated to the hospital.

Goalie #82 Josh Friedenberger continued to show his outstanding performance as a goalie, blocking multiple shots and back-to-back saves. The team tied it up going into overtime.
